In December 2014, in response to a suggestion by Charlie, an application for an AED (Automated external defibrillator) was submitted to the Heart and Stroke Foundation National AED Program. Although our building was approved to receive a machine, there wasn’t the funding to supply one. Oh happy day - through a generous donation from ScotiaBank, the Nova Scotia branch of the Heart & Stroke Foundation has been able to place four - and Trinity was selected! We hope we never have to use it but pleased we will have one available if the need arises. Observer magazine is due for renewal or to order if you don’t presently subscribe.
