‘I’ll sleep when I’m dead’ is the nightmarish story of a teen with insomnia. The never-ending nightmare of insomnia is a story that many teens will be able to relate to.

The moment when time just comes to a standstill and you feel like you’re trapped in an unending darkness for the rest of eternity is the exact moment that is captured within this film.

Throughout the night, the teen becomes more and more broken. The process sped up by the beat of the song. Tortured by the increasingly distorted and grotesque images that surround him, representing the slow disintegration of his mind as it tears itself apart.

As his mind starts to break down, so do his surroundings. Visions of his bedroom objects exploding and dissipating ensconce his mind. His pleas for help are heard by no one. He is all alone.

Only sleep will free him from his waking nightmare.Only death will allow him to sleep.
