The KKS PE is KWT’s lowcost solution for regulating water levels. The HDPE side cheeks are toothed for a rack-and-pinion operation and the tilting plate is made from stainless steel thus not requiring any additional reinforcements. This way all material properties have been optimally employed. This tilting weir is available in max 2000 mm width and can be manually operated, or by actuator with manual override. Whereas KKS in stainless steel is adequate for flood control, KKS PE is more focused on rural water level control, such as forest creeks, small streams and upstream reservoirs. Just like KKS, KKS PE enjoys the same modular structure. This weir can be fitted into the civil structure on both upstream and downstream sides.
