Recently, in Tamil Nadu, a studentstabbed his school teacher multipletimes thereby killing her. When questioned, he told that watchinga particular scene in Agneepath drovehim to despair. 8. Movie inspired villains? After the screening of Ek Duuje KeLiye, few decades ago, many desperatelovers flung themselves from the top ofmountain cliffs in mother India. 9. Can we blame movies? Few people like James indeed look at themovies as a how-to-manual to fix theirproblematic existence. Hence, it is easier to blame a movie thantry to address the complex calculationsthat result in an individuals descentinto momentary madness. 10. Can we blame movies? Many write about films as a cause if notthe cause for social rot. For them, cinema is an assiduous weevilgnawing away at the roots of our modernday lives. 11. What about good movies? There were lots of good moviesportraying about national leaders like ,Ambedkar, Gandhiji, Kamaraj and EVRaPeriyar. There was no news item indicating thatso many people were changed in theirbehaviour after watching these fantasticmovies. 12. What about good movies? There is no such news items sincenobody basically changes after watchingthose movies. Then how can we blame the badbehaviour alone as a result of watchingbad movies? 13. Whom to blame? What about them??? 20. What is the mirror behind thescreen? What is the real cause of trouble? What does the mirror behind the screentells us? God can indeed set us free Sin is the real cause of all troubles. It may or may not be aggravated byseeing a particular movie or playing avideo games. But, the real trouble, the root of all evilis inside each one of us. 36. God can indeed set us free We may or may not be slaves to moviesand games but are slaves to sin. The good news this morning is God canindeed set us free from this body ofdeath. God gave his only begotten Son JesusChrist for destroying the work of thissinful nature. 37. Do we have the freedom? We have to examine ourselves thismorning. Do we really enjoy this freedom whichcomes free of cost to all human beings? If not, let us turn back to God andreceive this greatest blessing whichcomes through Jesus Christ. 38. Blessed is he/she Blessed is the onewhose transgressions are forgiven,whose sins are covered.2 Blessed is the onewhose sin the LORD does not countagainst themand in whose spirit is no deceit.Psalm 32:1,2
