The Plymouth Teaching School Alliance is looking to recruit a Schools DirectLead to have the strategic oversight of the Schools Direct offer for the PTSA.

This can be done on a consultancy basis, or as a secondment.

This role is for approximately 35 days over the course of the academic year2014/2015 and offers a salary of £10,000.

The right candidate must be able to offer:- A clear understanding of the Schools Direct programme, both Primary andSecondary, together with the ability to lead the integration of the two models- A clear understanding of the structure and protocols of the PTSA- The ability to form strong relationships with a range of schools very quickly- A strong understanding of professional standards, and of curriculumexpectations- A strong history of experience judging teaching and learning- Experience of implementing procedures to tackle underperforming students ormentors- The desire to work alongside and liaise with all stakeholders, including HEI’s,headteachers, governors, students, and the other strand leads of the PTSA- The ability to create a business model that ensures the sustainable delivery ofthe Schools Direct programme- An understanding of the role Teaching Schools play in this changingeducational climate
