completion of the ‘Get Lost Mr Scary Program’ last
Thursday. The students have been engaged in a play
-based, experiential group program that helps
students deal with fears and anxiety. It was a 7 week
program coordinated by Mrs Eyre our school
counsellor and Mrs Mulkeen.
The students used puppets and play to learn how to
use sensible thinking and become the boss of their
worries. It has been such a great success that we
hope to run the program again very soon.

UNSW INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS AND ASSESSMENT 2019
Students in Years 3-6 are invited to enter the 2019 International Competitions in Science, Spelling, Writing,
Mathematics, English and Computer Skills.
Year 2 students are invited to enter in Science, Spelling, English and Mathematics competitions.
The exams are online this year. They will take place in the computer room, students will need to bring
headphones and a pencil with them.

correctly, their total score, as well as their average, compared with the rest of the students in the state.
Certificates are awarded as follows:
High Distinction top 1% of entrants

Participation to all other participating students
All students who achieve the highest score in each state receive a University NSW medal.
