For many years we have been hearing about how technology will make paper obsolete in the modern office. iPads, tablets, laptops and smart phones do make it easy to get information anywhere at any time. However, paper use is more prevalent today than ever before.

The target audience for this speech is Chief Financial Officers and Chief Information Officers of large companies.

In this presentation, Mike writes from years of experience to explain why it is important for business leaders to take action to address improvements in their company’s office printing environment.

Every time an employee prints, they are making a buying decision for the company

Example: 5,000 employee company spends about $5,000,000 annually

What We Don’t Know Can Hurt Us

Printing is Not Secure!

Paper is a security risk. Often checked on building entry: cameras, phones, laptops, picture identification, citizenship

Almost never checked: the paper in your briefcase

Your email is scrutinized, but not your prints, scans or copies

Medical records, banking information (SSN), product design, national security information, are all at risk!
