The Heroism of Father Maximilian Kolbe

A Bengali-language article of Jerome D'Costa on the life and martyrdom of Father Maximilian Kolbe (1894-1941), a Conventual Franciscan priest of Poland. He laid down his life in the Nazi concentration camp of Auschwitz. This article was published in 1974 after three years of his beatification. Later, Pope John Paul II, another son of the soil of Poland, canonized Father Kolbe to sainthood on October 10, 1982.
