FOREWORD
Having imbibed the spirit of quality sustenance following the successful completion of two
cycles of accreditation, the organization of activities aimed at enriching the academic ambience of the
institution has turned out to be an absolutely easeful task. The plethora of programmes that filled the
pages of the history of the college since the submission of the Self Study Report to NAAC in October
2015 bespeak of the institution‟s commitment to the enhancement and sustenance of quality. The
unstinted efforts put in by the IQAC ensured that every activity or programme undertaken remained
contributory to the proclaimed vision and the mission of the college. The persistent call of the Board
of Management that the underprivileged students belonging to this mofussil institution should never
remain deprived of the amenities and opportunities that easily beckon their counterparts in city
colleges has also played a pivotal role especially in the organization of national and state level
seminars, workshops, conferences, guest lectures, skill development programmes, certificate courses
and so on. The Annual Mega Job Fair and the Campus Drives arranged at the college exemplify the
Management‟s determination to provide the students the best ever opportunities that they aspire to
have on the college campus. Even a cursory glance at the list of activities will make it amply clear
that the organization of programmes as well as activities has already been internalized in the
institution, and therefore, it is bound to continue even in the post-accreditation era.
The Supplementary Self Study Report enlists the activities and programmes which have been
carried out since the submission of the hard copy of the SSR to NAAC on October10, 2015. Even
though the report has been readied with the objective of drawing the kind attention of the NAAC Peer
Team Members to what the institution has been doing since the submission of the SSR almost a year
ago, it is intended, through the report, to leave behind a concrete record of all the significant events
that have gone into the making of yet another eventful year.
