STRATEGIES OF CONFLICT RESOLUTION
Conflict resolution is key because without it small disagreements
can become group destroying fights.
Conflict resolution begins long before any conflict occurs.
If all members are constantly aware of the implications of their
actions it is a great first step to preventing conflict

Here are a few steps which groups can take once conflict does
arise
• Stop and think: What is the conflict about?
• Understand: How would I feel in their shoes?
• Respond: Talk with all involved parties. What is their side of the
argument
• Work it out: This ranges from compromising, to sometimes
even backing down for the case of the group. It is important to
understand everything is about the group not just each
individual

One of the great aspects of group work is the ability to work with
all kinds of different learning styles.
It is important to get to know your group well so that you are
able to utilize all the skills available to your group.

Utilizing all team members skills can make large projects much
easier and much better.
This ensures that all learning styles will be represented so that
your group is more likely to have all students learn the lesson
they are trying to teach.
It is important to always have diverse lessons which allow a large
range of learning styles to be present so as to not leave any
students behind.
