SENIORS If you completed the on-line application for Reedley College/Fresno City College; you will bereceiving an email from SCCCD (State Center Community College District) with instructions

that you will need to follow for completing the On-line orientation, DO NOT DELETE! The

on-line orientation is open. PLEASE check your email daily. Email is the #1 form ofcommunication that colleges use. Any questions or if you need help see Ms. Loving.

CELL PHONES & Please be respectful of the NO cell phone & IPOD rule from 8 AM – 3:30 PM. If your cell 

IPODS phone is confiscated; A Parent/guardian must come to Selma High to pick up the item. No

SCHOOL SERVICE  Don’t forget to continue to donate to the Pennies for Patients for Jose Valencia Drive

PROJECT  in your 4th period classes through the month of January. 

In addition to donation boxes, we will also hold raffles during half time at the basketball

games. You can also help by bringing in any new or lightly used children’s clothing in youthsizes: newborn, 3T and youth 5 to the student store.  Let’s show that Selma Bears truly careabout our community and those in need. Thank you for your support.

Tomorrow, Thursday January 22, 2015, CSF is going to give away hot chocolate and cookies toeveryone who comes by room 1501 during lunch to donate clothing and/or money for the Pennies forPatients Jose Valencia Drive!! Current and future CSF Members are encouraged to donate on that dayto show support for our school’s community service effort. 

DRESSCODE Please be respectful of the Selma High School Rules. All collegiate and professional sport

 VIOLATIONS  attire is not allowed to be worn, that also includes Fresno State. The dress code is strictlyenforced and if dress code is violated Saturday school will be given to the student.

DONATION On Friday, January 30 from 9-11pm in the Dining Hall we will host a donation dance where

DANCE  all money collected at the door will be added to our Pennies for Patients/ Jose ValenciaDrive. The dance will be called the “5 Dolla Holla Dance”.  The cost is $5 for everyone,even those with ASB cards. Guest passes for this dance are due Wednesday, Jan. 28. Andagain, the cost is $5 for ASB, ID, and approved guests.

SENIOR TRIP The next $50 payment for your senior trip is due on January 30. Be sure to keep up withPAYMENT your payment plan so you don’t have to worry about a big balance at the end.  All payments

can be made to Gina Gonzalez in the finance office.

CLASS SHIRT  Class shirts are now on sale for just $8. Buy yours today in room 1005 and be ready toCLEARANCE  represent your class at the upcoming Winter Rally on January 30th.

WINTER RALLY   Get ready to bring your class spirit on Friday, January 30 at our Winter Rally in the gym. Wewill be highlighting our Winter Sports teams as they get ready to take on CVC that evening.

CREDIT RECOVERY There will be a Credit Recovery meeting TODAY  at 3:30 in the Library ComputerLab. Remember —seats are limited so make sure you attend to claim your spot!

SENIOR CLASS  Mandatory Senior class meeting tomorrow, Thursday Jan. 22 during 4th period in the gym.MEETING  (Important Grad &Scholarship Info) All seniors must check in with their 4th period class and

then head to the gym.

WINTER FORMAL  The class of 2017 is proud to invite you to Winter Wonderland 2015. Tickets for this WinterFormal will go on sale on Friday, January 16, 2015 at lunch. Ticket prices are $20 w/ ASB,$25 w/ ID, and $30 for all approved guests. Students must be academically eligible andfree of debt before purchasing a ticket. Tickets are nonrefundable andnontransferable. Freestyle Entertainment will be sure to bring out the magic to this WinterWonderland on Saturday, January 24 from 8-11pm in the SHS Dining Hall. Maxwell Studioswill provide professional picture package sessions at an additional charge. Buy your ticketsearly and beat the long lines.  You don’t want to miss special Winter Wonderland event! 

SWIMMERS/  Attention Swimmers & Divers: The swim suit try on is TODAY  at 3:45pm.DIVERS Please see Mrs. Manter ASAP to pick up an order form. This will be the only day to try on

and order suits!

REEDELY COLLEGE The application deadline for the Honors Program at Reedley College is: February 1st for the 

HONORS PROGRAM  early application deadline. March 1ST is the regular deadline.

PRIVILEGE CARD If you applied for a privilege card and marked that you are allowed to transport otherprivilege card holders you MUST attach a copy of your driver’s license and insurance.  If thiswas not attached you will not be able to transport other privilege card holders. Please see

GSA  Attention all GSA club members: We will be having a meeting TODAY , Wednesday, January

21st, during lunch in room 2307. Grab your lunch and head over promptly. We will bediscussing the club plans for second semester.

MUSIC SUGGESTION The music suggestion box is back. At this time we need student suggestions of music

BOX that you want to hear at future dances. (Remember, suggestions should be appropriate fora school dance) The Winter Formal & Donation Dance is coming at the end of January getyour suggestions in so they can be played for the dances. The music suggestion box will belocated by Room 1005.
