As human resource professionals, we are fortunate to have a variety of opportunities to connect and learn
through association chapter meetings and events; online learning sessions and webinars; social networking
sites and forums; and formal conferences. The reality is that it sometimes can be challenging to select which
resources and events will best allow for strategic learning that will benefit your current role and further your
professional development. RWHRMA developed a unique event to target senior level HR professionals,
creating sessions geared toward SPHR and GPHR strategic credit and networking opportunities for leaders
with over ten years of experience.
RWHRMA is pleased to share that the second annual Strategic HR Summit will be held on February 27 & 28 in
Downtown Raleigh. Keynote speakers will include Sandy Costa, sharing expertise from over 40 years in
executive and senior operating management positions in “The Attributes of Great Leaders” and Ben Casnocha,
award winning entrepreneur and author, leading “Reinventing the Employer-Employee Contract in an
Entrepreneurial Age.”
Amy Hoover, HR/Business Support Services Manager for Arysta LifeScience and leader of the planning efforts
for the Strategic HR Summit, exuded, “We are so excited to be hosting the Strategic HR Summit again in 2014.
This day and a half executive and senior level event is the first of its kind for NC. We offer an intimate setting of
approximately 100-150 HR leaders from large and small companies for thought provoking mega sessions
designed to challenge leaders to up their game in leading and growing their business. We are planning for
another outstanding line-up of strategic and global focused topics and spotlight key partnerships with a select
group of industry leading providers such as Ogletree Deakins, and Stanley Benefits.”
