INTERIOR

Rumah Kaca Plataran was designed by the late Hendra Hadiprana,

also known as Oom Henk; the legendary Indonesian architect sadly

passed away in December 2019 at the age of 89, but not before

completion of this exquisite resort house – a fitting monument to his

creative legacy. The main building covers an area of 954m2, in which

an elegant array of ivory-white pillars, columns, staircases, verandas

and balconies combine to fashion a regal ambiance, imbued with

class and sophistication. Floor-to-ceiling windows bathe the property

in natural light, while spacious rooms and meeting spaces offer room

to breathe and enjoy the view.

ROOMS

Rumah Kaca provides a total of five rooms: two king, one queen,

one twin and one quad-bed configuration. Each is fitted with its

own personal bathroom, with one suite also providing connecting

bathrooms. Additional facilities include an indulgent private Jacuzzi,

or beautiful balconies with spectacular mountain views. Each room

is draped in gentle pastel colours, complemented by delicate soft

furnishings and warm earthy tones of timber, terracotta and clay;

bathed in sunlight and replete with modern comforts, each room is a

warm and welcoming environment in which to stay.

while also fitting seamlessly into the landscape. Situated amid the

verdant expanse of Rancamaya golf course and country estate, the

grounds of Rumah Kaca spread out over 2,500m2 and include a range

provides multiple seating areas that are perfect for sitting back and

breathing in the beauty of nature. Combining elegant architecture
