from the Twins (4), Rays (4) and Jays (3) that will lead into the All-Star break.

MUST SEE TV --The Royals continue to dominate the local television numbers with a 12.2 household rating on Fox Sports Kansas City this year, which ranks #1 in the

Majors and is a 125% increase over last year’s ratings per information provided by Nielsen Research...last night’s late night affair back in the Midwest recorded a 9.6

rating on FSKC...the highest rated telecast to date was a 15.9 when the Royals hosted Cincinnati on May 19.

NED NOW NUMBER ONE --The 16th full-time manager in Royals’ history, Ned Yost, became the winningest skipper in franchise annals with #411 with last Thursdaynight’s win over Milwaukee, passing Royals’ Hall of Famer, Whitey Herzog, who won 410 games from 1975-79, while Ned is now 413-430...Yost passed the late Dick

Howser for the #2 spot on June 8 in Minnesota...already the all-time leader in games managed in Kansas City with 843, this is Ned’s second stint as a big league manager

after nearly six years at the helm for Milwaukee (2003-2008), compiling a 457-502 record with the Brew Crew including a 166-146 mark in his last two seasons.

FOUR WOULDN’T HAVE MATTERED--The Royals would have had to move past their run scoring l ine of demarcation to secure a win last night, as the Mariners plated

seven in the shutout decision...Kansas City is now 7-23 when plating fewer than four runs this year and 27-82 in the last two years...conversely, KC is 33-4 when scoring

at least four runs in a game and dating back to the start of the 2013 season, Kansas City is 166-21 (.888 winning pct.) when stepping on home plate at least four times.
