What is the Wasrag Model for doing WASH Projects?

PEP = Project Enhancement Process

• An initiative for Rotarians supported by The Rotary Foundation (TRF) and the Water and Sanitation Rotary Action Group (Wasrag)

• Leverages Rotarian volunteer and staff expertise to enhance the technical quality of projects,

• Supports sound project design, • Produces effective Global Grants and measure Rotary’s impact in the Areas of Focus.

key stakeholders• Conduct community assessments • Facilitate the prioritization of community needs • Generate technical and programmatic

What are PPP Teams?

• It gives sponsoring and hosting Rotary Districts/Clubs access to knowledgeable WASH professionals early in the planning process so that award of Global Grants is facilitated.

• It gives TRF some level of assurance that the selected project is sustainable.

• It helps establish long-term monitoring and evaluation tools.

• It opens the project up to other Areas of Focus.
