2 Components subject to special treatment

2.1 Display unit

• Unscrew the screw to the right of the display and open the display.

If required, remove the hinges and remove the display.

• Detach the cable connection to the front adapter circuit board

• Detach the remaining cable connections on the display unit

2.1.1 Front circuit board, incl.

converter circuit board - 0,3 kg

• Unscrew 4 screws

2.1.2 Potentiometer panel circuit

board - 0.3 kg

• Unscrew 4 screws under front of

circuit board

2.1.3 EL display, including display

field – 0.3 kg

• Unscrew 4 screws

2.2 Electronics unit

• Remove the fan cover at top back

of the device

• Remove the housing cover

(2 screws)

• Remove both housing side panels

(4 plastic screws each)

2.2.1 5 electronics circuit boards -

1.2 kg

• Lift the red lever, remove the

circuit boards

2.2.2 Front adapter circuit board -

0.1 kg

• Unscrew 2 screws

2.2.3 Power supply unit with power lead - 2kg

• Remove the upper rear strut of the

steel frame (2 screws on right and

left); push the two housing side

panels apart for this purpose.

Detach the connection cable and

grounding cable

• Unscrew 4 side fastening screws

of the power supply unit (the

lower screws are positioned

slightly further inside)

• Remove the power supply unit

2.2.4 Motherboard - 0.2 kg

• Unscrew 6 screws on base panel

2.2.5 Interface circuit board - 0.1 kg

• Back of device

2.2.6 Battery for power-failure

alarm

• Detach the loudspeaker cover

(2 screws on back of device)

• Detach the cable connection to

the loudspeaker, lay aside the

cover

• Remove 2 screws from the battery

holder

• Remove the battery

2.3 Pneumatics unit

2.3.1 Pressure sensor circuit board -

0.1 kg

• Detach the base panel of the

Babylog8000 (2 screws at bottom

front, 2 screws at bottom back)

• Unscrew 3 screws on circuit

board at angle brackets

2.3.2 Pneumatics circuit board -

0.2 kg

• Remove the side aluminium

frame (4 screws)

• Remove the bottom rear frame

brace (2 screws on each side)

• Unscrew 4 screws on pneumatics-

analogue circuit board and one

screw on the pneumatics-

actuation circuit board.

2.3.3 Oxygen sensor

• Unscrew 2 screws at the plastic

cap, remove the cap and remove

the oxygen sensor.

2.3.4 O2-booster circuit board -

0.1 kg

• Unscrew 2 screws on the cap

from the inside.
