Academic ProgramTo lead in today’s business world, organizations need employees who possess a complete set of tools.

• Cognitive and executive skills provide the foundation to tackle management tasks and challenges.

• Interpersonal and leadership abilities enable people to identify opportunities, deal with obstacles, and drive change.

The Lisbon MBA Full-Time Program targets both the right and left sides of the brain, preparing our participants to respond decisively in a dynamic world.

Friday ForumsOver twenty-fi ve Friday sessions, our participants strengthen interpersonal skills which can often determine a manager’s success or failure. Focus is put on the following core competences of today’s manager:

• Creativity• Leadership• Integrating Knowledge and

Experience• Resilience• Career Management

Because these competences lie beyond technical knowledge and classroom learning, Friday Forum provides opportunities to practice interpersonal skills during workshops or hands-on activities.

MIT ImmersionThrough our partnership with MIT, our participants discover the culture and business practices of the fast-paced north-east of the USA.

Over the summer, the Full-Time MBA participants immersed themselves in courses and campus life at the MIT Sloan School of Management, in Boston (USA). They took advantage of the access to MIT’s professors, prolifi c libraries and learning centers, while pursuing courses specifi cally focused on global issues in management:

• Global Markets and Strategy• Managing Technological Innovation

and Entrepreneurship• Global Compliance Issues

“Thanks to the MIT Summer Immersion, all Lisbon MBA Full-Time participants have had an intensive grounding in international management, global compliance and ethics, and management of technological innovation – the same areas we at MIT Sloan fi nd are critical for managers and leaders in the new global economy. The participants’ enthusiastic and focused work impressed all their MIT Sloan faculty, and we look forward to distinguished careers for these leading business professionals.”
