ts Just one guest this morning, Judy Malcolm from BLT and the
Wow Bus.
Welcome Judy!
Ron and Ken will be celebrating their 49th Birthdays on April 6th and 7th respectively.
Ron and Ken, enjoy your special day!
When promoting Rotary, who we are, is not important, it’s what we do that resonates with potential members. To that end George has been promoting using the Rotarian as the vehicle that best describes what we do and placing the magazine in waiting rooms throughout Oceanside.

Community Service
Arlene presented Jerrold from the The Manna Society and Judy from BLT and the WOW Bus each a cheque for $500 in support of the good work that these
two organizations do in our community.
The funds that we are able to present to Community and International entities comes from the fund raising that our members do throughout the year.
Ø Ken circulated the sign up sheet for our Raffle Ticket Sales effort. If you haven’t done so get your name on at least one of the 2-hour slots.
Ø Family Day is on May 26th and Deanna is again looking after our entry in the Parade
Act of Kindness Day’s
Ø Community Service announcements for April and May: o Town Cleanup April 26, meet at the Community
Centre at 9 o Story Book Village Work Party, May 4, 9am – noon o Family Day May 26th
Ø Our Changeover Celebration will be at Eaglecrest on June 25th. We voted on the menu and it looks like the Prime Rib members won the day. We look forward to going back to Eaglecrest, in past years the menu has been exceptional.
Ø Our Perogie Polio Plus Fundraiser was an over the top success. To date contributions are at $3400 with additional funds still coming in. President Wendy thanked members, spouse and Interactors who helped with the set up and the serving. We had a FULL house, Rotary House rocked.
April 19-21 is going to be an Act of Kindness Days and members and friends are encouraged to “pay it forward” over the three days.
