With the Programme in Project Management (PPM) you will be
equipped with the necessary skills and tools to manage projects
professionally. The skills taught are applied in individual
assignments that are performed in the workplace. The PPM is a
well-established programme that is currently in its 24th year
running, already having been presented more than 175 times.
Thousands of delegates from a variety of industries and government
organisations have successfully completed and benefited from the
programme. The PPM is therefore well known in industry. The PPM is
applicable to projects in all sectors of business and
government.
The PPM is, to a large extent, presented by the same lecturers
that present Africa’s only Master’s Programme in Project Management
that is accredited by the Global Accreditation Centre of the
Project Management Institute (PMI).

Programme structure
16 contact days (8 Fridays and 8 Saturdays).This option
accommodates delegates who cannot afford to be away from work for
20 contact days on the Midweek PPM alternative.

Professional recognition
After successfully completing this course, suitable candidates
will be eligible to apply for professional designation as a Project
Manager (PM) conferred by Project Management South Africa (PMSA).
PMSA is the SAQA recognised professional body representing the
interests of project managers across sectors.
Programme fees
R40 250.00 per delegate (VAT incl.)Programme fees include course

Who should enrol?
This programme is ideal for you if you are involved in or
associated with projects, whether as a project manager, planner,
project team member or senior member.
Admission requirements
Prospective delegates should at least have formal three year
qualification after completing Grade 12. Other prior learning could
be taken into account for admission.
Please provide proof of your highest qualification with your
application.

the University of Pretoria. As a public higher education
institution, the University of Pretoria functions in accordance
with the Higher Education Act 101 of 1997. Enterprises University
of Pretoria offers short courses on behalf of the University and
these short courses are not credit-bearing, and do not lead to
formal qualifications on the National Qualifications Framework
(NQF) – unless stated otherwise. Delegates who successfully
complete the PPM and comply with the related assessment criteria
are awarded certificates of successful completion by the University
of Pretoria.
