Preliminary Task - Process

I had to crop the image of Captain America using the quick selection tool to crop the background out as he will be the star image of the poster.

I sent this image to the back as the background as it shows the location the characters are going to be in.

I cropped the background from this image of the side-kick (Falcon) using the quick selection tool.

Again another image cropped using the quick selection tool to crop the background.

This image shows the antagonist of the film, ‘The Winter Soldier’, I used the quick selection tool to crop the background from him too.

The movies name is shown in bold with the font ‘Gill Sans MT’ size 60pt. Since this film is a sequel the ‘The Winter Soldier’ text is smaller than ‘Captain America’.

Every Marvel film has this logo somewhere in their film or posters so I followed the convention. I first got a red rectangle and inserted text with the font ‘Impact’ and size 25.25pt.

This shows the actor/actresses names that are significantly important to the movie. The font used is ‘Kalinga’ with size 15.96pt. These four names were aligned using the automatic aligning function to line them up.The final poster looks like this, with all the images and edits complete with text. I had another background but it blended in with my text which made me change my mind about the background I will be using for this poster.
