November 11, 2018– 32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time

In the Gospel, we heard Jesus teaching us about giving, and more importantly, the quality of giving. In short, Jesus is telling us today that true giving is giving from the heart. May we then learn to give generously from the heart. The Lord also reminds us not only about sincerity of heart but also about humility in our acts of piety and charity. It means that all our piety and charity should be done for the Lord, not for ourselves. Our task as Christians, is to keep on witnessing to God’s love and generosity wherever we are by what we say and do. Let us never forget these very important lessons and values in life – sincerity and generosity.

May the generous Lord bless you all the days

of your life. Amen.

From Fr. Steve
