CodeDay Columbia is a 24-hour event for high school & college students who want to build an app or vid-

eo game from scratch with a team in a fun environment, regardless of experience! There will be programming and soft skills workshops, then, everyone pitches ideas, splits into teams, and works through the night to create their project. In the morning, each team's final product is judged by a panel.

The event takes place from noon to noon, the weekend of November 7–8 at SOCO in downtown Columbia (823 Gervais St., second floor).

Register at http://CodeDay.org/columbia. Use the promo code "CALHOUN" for 20% off registration. Email ques-tions to [email protected].
