Zaqueo era un hombrerico que vivía en Jericó. Trabajócomo cobrador de impuestos.Cada vez que la gente vendia

algo, tenían que pagarle dinerode los impuestos a Zaqueo.

A muchas personas que pasaban porla zona del mercado en su camino hacia el templo,si compraban algo, él también les cobraba impuesto.

Zaqueo cobraba más dinero

del que debia y se quedabacon él y a la gente no le gustaba eso.Un día Jesús y sus discípulos llegarona Jericó. Zaqueo escuchó eso y decidióir a verlo. El problema era que Zaqueoera muy pequeño, él trató de mirar porencima de sus hombros, pero no podíaver nada.

Zaqueo miró a su alrededorbuscando algo en qué subirse y ver a Jesús.Él vio un gran árbol alto. “Si me subo en lo

alto de los árboles”, “Voy a ser capaz de vera Jesús, incluso cuando la multitid lo rodee”.

Zacchaeus was a wealthyman. He lived in Jericho. He worked

as a tax collector. Each time peoplesold something, they had to paytax money to Zacchaeus.

Many of the people who passedby the market area on their way to the temple, if they decided to buy anything, Zacchaeus wouldcollect money from them. Zacchaeus collected moremoney and kept the extra money for himself. Peopledid not like him.

One dayJesus and his disciples came to

Jericho. Zacchaeus heard that and decided to gosee him. The problem was that Zacchaeus wasvery short. All the other people were already linedup along the road. He tried to look over theirshoulders, but he could not see anything.

Zacchaeus thought for himself and lookedaround for something that would make him taller.Suddenly he ran past the crowd and got aheadof where Jesus was walking. He saw a big and talltree. “If I climb high up in that tree, I will be able to

see Jesus even when the crowd surrounds him,”Zacchaeus thought.

He knew thatJesus was comingcloser. From his branch,Zacchaeus watched forJesus. “There he is! Thereis Jesus!”

Then,just as Jesus

walked underneath thetree, Jesus looked straightup at Zacchaeus. ThenJesus said, “Zacchaeus,come down here. I amgoing to your house.”

Zacchaeus wasvery surprised. What didthat mean? He thought tohimself, “Why does Jesuswant to come to my house?”He climbed down, ran to hishouse and got ready for Jesus.

“Why is Jesus goingto Zacchaeus’ house? Hetakes more money from usthan he should, and he is abad man,” the people said.“Zacchaeus does not obeyGod’s law.”

While they weretogether, Zacchaeus toldJesus he was sorry for all

PreparacónPela las bananas y córtalas por la mitad.Introdúceles un palito y deja enfriar en elcongelador mientras preparas el resto de los

ingredientes.

En un recipiente pondremos el chocolatesemi-dulce junto a una cucharada y media de

mantequilla y lo meteremos en el microondas hastaque se derrita. Haremos lo mismo con elchocolate blanco y con otra cucharada ymedia de mantequilla.

Toma una banana del congeladory ponla sobre el papel de cera ycúbrela con el chocolate derretido porambos lados. Decora con chispas dechocolate de colores y espera hasta quese condense el chocolate, alrededor de unminuto e introdúcelo en el congelador.

Raspa el chocolate sobrante que ha quedadoen el papel y colócalo en su recipientecorrespondiente. Si notas que el chocolate se

espesa demasiado en el recipiente,volver a calentar en el microondas.

Termina de cubrir todaslas bananas y decóralas algusto. Déjalas reposar en

el congelador alrededor de unahora.

PreparatonPeel the bananas and cut them in half.Introduce a stick and place in the freezer while

preparing the remaining ingredients.

In a bowl put the semi-sweet chocolate alongwith a half tablespoon of butter and place it

in the microwave until it melts. You will do thesame with the white chocolate and anotherhalf tablespoon of butter.

Take a banana from the freezer andplace it on the wax paper, cover it

with melted chocolate on both sides.Decorate with some colored chocolatechips and wait until the chocolatethickens, in about one minute, place inthe freezer.

Scrape the excessed chocolate that hasremained on the paper and pour it in thebowl. If you notice that the chocolate

is too thick in the pan, reheat in themicrowave.

Para hacer este dibujo volvemos a usar latécnica de comparar la medida de la altura dela cabeza, utilizando dos puntos de referenciaque visualizaremos, uno en la parte alta delsombrero y el segundo en la parte baja de lalínea de la mandíbula, luego esta medida secompara con la altura del modelo-gráfico y conel ancho total.

También se requiere utilizar la medida de lacabeza para compararla con las diferentes

Este mes conoceremos al los niñosartistas que pusieron ritmo y alegríaa nuestra pasada celebración deaniversario.

A los cuatro años de edad, endiciembre del año 2004, Arielse mostró muy entusiasmado,sorprendido e interesado por elsonido del saxofón. A la edad de 7años se nos acercó la profesora demúsica Rosalba Solís, Directora delgrupo cultural “La Piñata”.

Rosalba nos comentó que veíamucho talento en Ariel, y que legustaría que Ariel formara partede este grupo el cual lleva en estosmomentos alrededor de 20 años deexistencia. Ariel cursa el quinto gradoen la escuela Rafael Hernández y fue justo ahí donde junto a El Niño “ElTodo Poderoso”, tuvieron su primerapresentación artística donde tambien sele rindió homenaje a Rafael HernándezMarín. “Nuestro género musical es ritmo

urbano”.

In the interview of this month we will know the kidswho give that special touch of rhythm and happinessto our 1st anniversary party.

At the age of four, December 2004, Ariel was veryexcited and surprised; he was also interested by thesound of the saxophone. At the age of 7 years a music

teacher approached to us: Rosalba Solís, Director of the cultural group “La Piñata”.

Rosalba told us she saw a lot of talent in Ariel,and that she will like Ariel to be part of thisgroup, which now has around 20 years of existence.

Ariel is now in Fifth grade at the RafaelHernández School, it is here that he performedwith “The kid, The Almighty”, this was their firstartistic presentation in which Rafael HernándezMarín was tributed.

“Our musical genre is urban rhythm.”

“Our advice for all the kids: Don’t ever leaveschool, your studies are the most importantthing. Never stop dreaming, nothing isimpossible if you work and fight for what youwant, and above all:FIGHT FOR ABETTER FUTURE”!

The mini-biography of the great Juan Marichal

Juan Antonio (Sanchez) Marichal beganpitching in Triple A with the Lions. He startedwith a branch of the Giants called Tacoma.The manager of the Giants, Bill Rigney askedMarichal if he was ready to launch a game withSan Francisco.

“Of course”, he replied. His majorleague debut took place againstPhiladelphia, and his pitcheswere excellent, striking outthe first two batters, noneof them reaching base untilthe seventh inning. The“Dominican Dandy,” as hewas called, broke into the bigleagues with a one-hitter and12 strikeouts against Phillies onJuly 19, 1960.

In 1963 Marichalwon 25 gamesand lost only 8.He won morethan 20 gamesin five of thenext six seasons.He became a

master andfaced the best.He won thetitle as thebest pitcher inbaseball.

In June 1963,Marichalpitched the best game of his career: ano-hit, no runs against the Houston Colt.45 s.

He captivated fans with his outrageouslyunique delivery and a sense that the truegenius was in play.

En junio del 1963, Marichal lanzóel mejor juego de su carrera: un

partido sin ‘hit’ ni carreras contra losColt .45s de Houston.
