Maidenhead RFC
Maidenhead RFC is a community rugby club who thrive on developing kids rugby
skills on the pitch as well as off it. We have a group of kids pulled from the local area
and schools, some of whom have been with us since U6’s, but many who have joined
in the past 12 months. There are different levels of experience and capability and as
a group of coaches, we take great joy in developing each kid, each week no matter
what.
We train at Braywick Park at the following times:
Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 7:30 on the 1st team AGP
Sunday morning from 10:00 – 12:00 unless we have fixtures against other local clubs
Rugby is a physical sport that is focussed on safely developing skills in a fun and competitive
environment. Friendships are created across schools as they come together at the club. Rugby also
focusses on building friendly rivalries across clubs as we play local teams and no matter the result the
kids put our club tie on and share a meal after the game. We run a series of introductory sessions for the
kids and so they can try out to see if they enjoy it.

Many thanks to everyone who donated food and gifts for our Christmas boxes. And an extra big thank you to local business Argofield Ltd who made a collection on behalf of Year 8 students; Brendan Connell 8.1 Ben Marshallsay 8.1 Katie Arthur-Robinson 8.3 and delivered to Cox Green School to add to our collection. The Food and Gift boxes were delivered to Foodshare in Maidenhead and Windsor on Thursday 19th December. Helen Price, MP for Dedworth and Clewer Village, met Mrs Bisset-Garside and the sixth form helpers there, and gave a brief talk about the project and the various charities where our donations will be distributed and they were extremely grateful.
