2012 has been a tremendous year for us, with Natta continuing to successfully complete projects to tight programmes and to the high level of quality and excellent Health & Safety record that surpasses our clients expectations. Our 3 year plan, to increase our size, turn over and to diversify is well underway. Our strategy to move into more main contracting work is starting to bear fruit. In the last month we have successfully been awarded 4 new contracts as the Main Contractor. Further to our infrastructure works at Cody Park in Farnborough we have been awarded the groundworks and also the complete superstructure construction of the Datacentre. In Millbrook Park, Barnet we are undertaking all road and drainage infrastructure. In Chiswick we will be starting the design and complete build of 9 new houses. And finally we have been awarded the complete rebuild of Redfields Nursery and Garden Centre. Well done to everyone who have helped secure these projects, continue to work hard and who have helped deliver all of the other projects over the last year. As a company we have seen other changes this year. We have implemented a new Personnel Development Review (PDR) scheme to benefit our staff. This, we feel, is a much better and fairer way of evaluating our personnel and rewarding them for their hard work; their performance over the year is now linked to their bonus. 2012 also marks our 40th year of trading and I hope you have enjoyed the many celebrations that we have had this year. The Natta Annual Golf Day back in May, the Family Day in July and last but not least the Triforlife Triathlon at Woburn Abbey — which I have just about recovered from! On a serious note, all the proceeds from these events went to charity and I am very proud to tell you that this year we have raised a tremendous £16,450 for our nominated charities together with a further £650 that we have do- nated to other causes. Thank you for your generosity and spirit that made these events such a success. On behalf of Natta I would like to thank our clients and partners for their continued support. Merry Christmas to you all from me and my family. I wish you a very happy and healthy 2013, please continue the good work and be safe. New Personnel
N A T T A N E W S
Continuing our graduate training programme for 2012,
we have 3 new Graduate Engineers.
Jack Taylor joined us on 1st October. His previous
employer was Balfour Beatty Civil Engineering Ltd. He
is in a long term relationship, enjoys the outdoors,
heavy metal music and plays guitar and snooker.
Callum Baines started with us on 19th September
after graduating from the University of Surrey with an
MEng in Civil Engineering last year. He has been a keen
rugby player for the University and local club however
most enjoys time spent with a board strapped to his
feet. He is a keen kite surfer and snowboarder. He is
starting to settle in to Natta and enjoys the work and
the day to day challenges on site.
Nishil Patani joined us on 29th October. He graduated in 2011 from Nottingham
University with a BSc Hons in Civil Engineering. Already in his 6 weeks he has got
his CSCS card, and more importantly got to know some of the characters on site.
Nishil is currently working at Milbrook Park in Barnet. He supports Manchester
United which often sparks debate and plays as part of a 5-a-side football team.
Other interests are tennis, golf and F1. He likes a good laugh (which is essential to
work for Natta!!) and enjoys comedy nights. Life generally revolves around friends
family and his girlfriend who he has been with since college.

Following our Blue Level: 1001141 STEM accreditation back in July, on 4th December Natta was awarded with the Silver STEM Environmental Award from Kent County
Council.
This means that as a business we have measured our carbon footprint and taken the necessary action to reduce it. We have identified the resources, legal requirements, training and communications required for our environmental programme.
STEM has three levels; blue, silver and gold. These levels correspond to the three phases of the National Standard BS 8555. We are working towards the Gold Level and are hoping to achieve it In early 2013.
