Orion Educational Society was founded by the promoters of Orion Edutech Pvt. Ltd., a leading
skill development organization, with the vision of impacting inclusive development across all se
ctions of the society. Here we impart mass skill training to all sections which were relegated to
neglect, poverty and unskilled occupations. with the vision of impacting inclusive development a

Our objective is to create diverse employment opportunities to enable a sustainable livelihood
for all. We primarily focus on skilling marginalized youth and vulnerable sections like differently
abled candidates/ persons with disabilities (PWD), and secluded women.
We are implementing National Employability Enhancement Mission scheme of AICTE as per “
NEEM regulations, 2017” and 1st amendment issued vide notification dated 13th October, 2017
with our state of art infrastructure, pan India presence and association with various industries.
Enthused by the vision of building India as the skill capital of the world, we believe in working to
wards democratising skill development for all.
AICTE, under Ministry of HRD, launched National Employability Enhancement
Mission (NEEM) scheme to develop a competent workforce for our industries
through the popular concept of “On Job Practical Training” with an objective to
enhance the employability of a person either pursuing his or her Post Graduation
/graduation/diploma in any technical or non-technical stream or has discontinued
studies after Class 10th to enhance his/her employability.
Provide employability training to individuals between
the age group of 16 to 40 years.
Industries can shape ORION-NEEM trainees as per
their present and future requirements through On
Job Training from 3 Months to 36 Months.
The consolidated stipend to trainees at par with
applicable statutory minimum wages of the
unskilled category in respective states without any
statutory deductions.
Complying with health, safety and welfare norms
and guidelines.
Though the objective of the scheme is to develop
employable youth, there is no obligation on the host
industry to offer permanent employment at the end of
ORION-NEEM Accredited program.
The completion of an apprenticeship
program results in highly trained
professionals who can contribute noticeably
to the industries’ bottom line and ensures a
high level of quality production.
Weekly and daily hours of work of a
trainee while he /she undergoes training
shall be as prescribed by the policy of the
Employer / Company/Industry, where the
trainee will be placed for the training.
Clear legal structure to take candidates for a
test drive with no obligation to hire
NEEM training shall be for a minimum of 3
months and a maximum of 36 months and
the trainings must be NSQF compliant.
Stipend shall be paid as a single consolidated
amount and such payment will not attract any
statutory deductions or payments applicable to
regular employees i.e. PF/ESI etc.,since the
NEEM contract assures training and does not
constitute employment.
Trainees can be appointed in any trade or
function at any location in India and The NEEM
contract shall not be either an offer of
employment or a guarantee of employment.
Stipend paid to NEEM trainees can be
considered as part of CSR.
The stipend paid to NEEM trainee shall be at
par with prescribed minimum wages for
unskilled category of the State.

Orion as a NEEM facilitator creates awareness
among trainees on safety measures, so the
possibility of accidents is less.
Single window for national compliance
The duration of NEEM training shall be
determined by the nature of Industry or trade
where a NEEM trainee would be engaged for
such training and shall be at the sole discretion
of ORION NEEM.
A person registered under this NEEM Regulation is called a
Trainee under NEEM.
A person seeking training under NEEM shall be at least 16
years of age and not more than 40 years of age as on the
date of registration
A person seeking training under NEEM may either be
pursuing his or her Post Graduation/ graduation/ Diploma in
any technical or non-technical stream or may have
discontinued studies after Class 10th.
