Ronkonkoma’s St. Patrick's Day Parade
Sunday – March 10, 2013@ 2:00pm
My name is Deanna and I came up with the idea of walking in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade that was right here in my town, RONKONKOMA. My idea of walking in this Parade was to
support National Youth Leadership Network, and to let everyone know who we are. Well, it worked every time I passed someone they would stop and asked, “What N.Y.L.N.?”, I replied
“National Youth Leadership Network, a group who are trying to break isolation and build community through supporting youth with disabilities to reach their full potential and that I was a member of being on the Governor Board and that we are Nation Wide.” So, the walk went on and we walked on too. I felt very proud, happy, and excited to be standing in the
parade and telling everyone I am here to support my group. I was joined by family and friends as we walked on. The following are some pictures I had taken so I hope you like this little presentation I put together for you’d. I wanted to show you that this month my duty to
NYLN was to walk in the parade and get notice, SUCCEDED! Enjoy the slide show presentation I put together. Looking for feed back if you like to comment, so again thanks for
letting me are a part of this team! THANKYOU!!
