Origin• Spiderman's alter-ego is

Peter Parker.

• Before he became Spiderman, Peter was a typical high school "nerd."

• When he is not fighting crime as Spidey, Peter takes college classes and works part-time jobs (pizza, photography, etc.)

• Peter Parker gained his spider-powers when he was bit by a radioactive spider at Oscorp.

• He begins to fight smaller crimes after his Uncle Ben is murdered by a thug.

• Later, he saves New York City from supervillains such as the Green Goblin and Venom.

Strengths and Abilities• Spiderman can stick to most surfaces, as well as

shoot super-adhesive webs from his wrists (for swinging or fighting).

• His super-human strength and agility makes him 15 times stronger and faster than the average human.

• "Spider-Sense" allows Spiderman to react to incoming attacks.

• Peter Parker is also incredibly intelligent, allowing Spiderman to outsmart enemies who are stronger than him.

Weaknesses

• Despite his super-strength, most of Spiderman's enemies are much bigger and stronger than him.

• Similarly, his webs are not as effective against metal or armored foes.

• Peter Parker's biggest personality flaw is that he is highly emotional – Spiderman often makes poor decisions when his loved ones are involved. In several different series, he gives up or loses his powers.

Allies and Enemies• Spiderman has fought alongside the X-Men,

Avengers, and Fantastic 4 in the past.

• His main ally is a woman named “Black Cat,” a former thief who fights crime in NYC’s darkest areas.

• Spiderman has the most enemies of all Marvel heroes.

• His most well-known enemies are the Green Goblin, Venom, Lizard, Doctor Octopus, and Electro.

Fun Fact!• Peter Parker is not the only

Spiderman, according to one comic series. In the series, a villain named Jackal makes two clones of Peter Parker.

• The first clone, Kaine Parker, becomes evil (figure in black).

• The second clone, Ben Reilly, becomes the heroic Scarlet Spider (figure in red and blue).
