On May 22, 2019, ChannelConnect will host the 2nd. edition of its ‘This is IT’event.

During the first exciting and well attended edition in November last, Matthijs van

Nieuwkerken led a heated debate with ICT professionals on the subject of really

supporting the enduser. He will do this again on May 22, when the focus of the

discussions will be on the situation for SMB companies.

In the afternoon an inspiring expo will feature some 50 vendors and distributors in the

areas of security, datacenters, cloud, IoT and telecom. ‘This is IT’ combines the

exchange of information and knowledge with networking and doing business.

The SMB-segment is faced with many challenges on ICT-topics, due the fast developments in the business environment as well as in technology: How to make sure that your organisation complies to all security requirements, whilst allowing employees to use their own devices? How to link your timesheet to your billingsystem and will that work also in mobile apps? How do you keep your employees always posted on the latest marketing communications? And hpw do you integrate all available systems? Can you find a suitable party that supports you on these challenges without charging you for each minor change? Central topic for discussion willl be: what do vendors, ISV’s, resellers and distributors do to support these SMB-customers?
