He only managed to get around using his nose and his ears to recogniseeverythingaround him

One day as Jesus was walking along the road he saw the man and offered to heal him

Jesus spat in some dirt to make mud and placed it over the man’s eyes.

The man was verypuzzled about all this

Jesus told the man to go to the river and wash his face in the water.

So off he went to the river edge

Once he had washed in the river he was amazed at the reflection he saw in the river

He was so excited to be able to see the beauty all around him

But when the man tried to tell everyone about what had happened, no-one would believe him.

They said you must be his brother

Jesus heard what people were saying so he came back to visit the man

Jesus said “Don’t worry about what other people say – the questions is do you believe”

“Yes” the man said

“Then” said Jesus “Your faith has made you whole. You have been healed twice today”

Then the man went to tell as many people as he could. His eyes let him see and his heart made him able to believe in Jesus.

And Jesus rejoiced because the man believed
