Ino Mirkovic During 40 years of his artistic career violinist Ino Mirkovic has been performing in the most prestigious concert venues in the world. He played on the famous stages as Carnegie Hall, Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, Theatre “La Fenice” in Venice, Avery Fisher Hall, United Nations Congress Hall, Hercules Hall in Munich, UNESCO Hall, Jordan Hall in Boston and many others. Mirkovic has gained a high respect and admiration of the political leaders performing for over 20 presidents of different countries. UNESCO gave him a title of UNESCO Artist for Peace for his contribution to the culture of peace through the world of music. Ino Mirkovic received his professional education in the legendary Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, “where he was awarded with the title Doctor of Philosophy in the Art Science” (Ph.D.) Later, he taught as a Professor in many Universities and Conservatories, and founded his own Music Academy in Croatia. Students from all over the world follow his master-classes in Japan, South Korea, Russia, Italy, Spain, Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia, United States of America, Brazil and Argentina. Ino Mirkovic is permanently invited as a jury member or president in many international competitions in Europe, Asia and Russia. Ino Mirkovic is also a founder of international music festivals. He is a co-founder of the Placido Domingo Festival in Seville in Spain. During all years of his professional life he was also working as an artistic manager. Now he is collaborating with the world’s top, artistic managements as a consultant and organizer. His performer’s activity brought him to almost all European countries, North and South America, Africa, Middle and Far East. Mirkovic cooperated with many artists and celebrities, such as Riccardo Muti, Zubin Mehta, Barbara Hendrix, Monserrat Caballe, John Malkovich, Claudia Cardinale, Gregory Peck, Sydney Poitier, Peter Ustinov, Lionel Richie, Marisa Berenson, Naum Shtarkman, Veronica Dudarova, Kirill Rodin, Soile Isokoski, Grace Bumbry, Gil Shaham and others. Recently Mirkovic performed at Placido Domingo’s concert celebrating tenor’s inauguration as a Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO in Headquarters of UNESCO in Paris. His wide repertoire goes from early Baroque to contemporary music, including over 20 violin concertos with orchestra.

Ino Mirkovic
