HTC V IVE Tracking The tracking for the HTC Vive, Lighthouse, should always be connected to a socket and is therefore always active and calibrated. If any base station has been moved, please open the vrmonitor tool and follow the room setup proceedure. Headset Adjustments The adjustements of the headset is done manually in three dimensions: vertical centering, using the head strap, distance from the face, using knobs, and eye separation. 1. Pull out the gray rings (A) on the left and right hand of the headset, and rotate them to expand the face cover as much as possible. 2. Put on the headset. Some glasses can be worn inside the headset. 3. Adjust straps (B) on the left and right hand side of the headset, altenatively the knob (C) on the back, depending on type of straps. Make the face cover fit snuggly in a vertically centered position that results in the least amount of blur in the view. 4. Turn the small knob (D) on the right hand side of the headset to adjust the eye separation to a value that results in the least amount of blur in the view. 5. Pull out the gray rings (A) on the left and right hand of the headset, and rotate them to fit the lenses as close to your eyes as possible. 6. Push the gray rings (A) back in, to lock the face cover position. Write down or remember the settings of the face cover and eye separation to speed up future adjustments.
