We noted there were areas that required further investigation in their offering as follows: While the establishment fee was ‘nil’, other set up costs amounted to $900 plus. While there were no ongoing costs, if you requested a move to a fixed rate there was a fee of $260. They do not mention if an additional rate lock fee applies to secure the rate at settlement. If you were to take advantage of a higher loan to value ratio and pay Lenders Mortgage Insurance, the premium appears to be much higher than other lending institutions would charge for the same cover!
