HARLANDALE’S VISION• Early College High Schools exist

throughout Texas and their purpose is to provide students an opportunity to earn either college credit and hopefully an Associate’s Degree from a college or university.

• This is the first STEM Early College High School in San Antonio, Texas.

APPLICANT CRITERIA CRITERIO PARA APLICAR

• Live in Bexar County.

• Student must be an incoming 9th

grader

• 90% attendance; 70% GPA; mastery of all 7th grade STAAR Tests.

• Student must attend an essay writing session.

• Vivir en el condado de Bexar.

•Must have submitted the application by the deadline of January 30, 2015.

college where they must earn a certain passing score to continue taking college classes.

• The possibility exists where students will have to take college classes in the summer.

• Students that are not successful will be required to return to their home high school.

• Students attending the STEM Early College High School will be provided daily transportation from a designated location to and from the STEM Early College High School.

• Daily transportation will be provided from the program to Palo Alto.
