at The Cliff Bay hotel, marks the start of the 6th annual Stars Route,

a roadshow festival between Portuguese restaurants crowned with stars in the famous Michelin guide,

considered one of the country’s most important gastronomic happenings, this year for the first time extends to Spain.

Between march 13th and 17th we present a varied programme crowned

with memorable dinners prepared by the hands of award-winning chefs that are arriving

to the island from Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Austria and The Netherlands . ..

The daytime programme includes demonstrations, workshops, wine tasting, guided tours . ..

The lower lobby of the hotel, the champagne, the oysters, the lobsters, the mackerel, the bísaro pork, the portuguese wines . ..The Rose Garden restaurant, the caviar, the cheeses, the sushi, the foie gras, the desserts, the international wines . .. everything leads to the inside of the kitchen, where the molecular cooking counters promise to delight those who come !! The live music and DJ in the kitchen will liven up the night !!

Two memorable dinners in the exclusive environment of the Il Gallo d’Oro.The Chefs are gathering to prepare together a tasting menu comprising at least six exclusive dishes with the promise to surprise.Regional products where freshness and seasonality are top priority, the world’s highest quality ingredients and a selection of the most exclusive Portuguese wine . ..the fusion of the styles of the various Chefs means that each one of these diners will be a singular and unrepeatable event !!Dinners are preceded by a cocktail with the Chefs.

On the 16th, Chef Benoît invites: Thomas Bühner (La Vie, Germany, 3 Michelin stars),Michel Van der Kroft (‘t nonnetje, The Netherlands, 2 Michelin stars),Jordi Esteve (Nectari, Spain, 1 Michelin star)and Jacqueline Pfeiffer (Vestibül, Austria).
