WINDOWRIE Long Lunch with NEILA - 25 Oct 2014, Windowrie Homestead & Garden, Windowrie Road Canowindra. Windowrie and Neila join forces again to deliver an extraordinary day of food and wine. Expect a change in format - to keep it interesting! This year will comprise a three course meal matched with wines in the stunning setting of the Windowrie Gardens and Homestead. Flickerfest @ Rosnay - 25 Oct 2014, Rosnay Vineyard Lawns, Rivers Road, Canowindra. Come along for a raucus night of Flickerfest comedy flicks, organic curry and Rosnay wine on Richard and Florence’s lawn at the Rosnay vineyard on Saturday 25 October, following the Windowrie Weekend lunch with Neila.

The films are Flickerfest’s selection of the very finest comedy flicks from this year’s 22nd Anniversary Festival - Rosnay has been the wine sponsor of the festival for the last 4 years. Gates open at 6.00pm, Wooly’s famous home grown organic curry at 6.30pm with films beginning at 7.30pm. First World War Centenary

From 2014, the world will be commemorating 100 years since the start of the First World War.

Did you know?...

During the Centenary period, the name of each of the 62,000 Australians who gave their lives during the First World War will be projected onto the façade of the Hall of Memory at the Australian War Memorial.

The names will be displayed from sunset to sunrise every night, and can be seen from the Memorial's grounds.
