  • 2nd YEAR WORK

    Project: visited and studied ran utsav event in Kutch Gujarat and lokotsav in Goa that happens once in a year where display of art works from different states takes place. Based on the study designed an Art and craft village over area of 25000 sq.m which showcase Art, culture, and tradition of Goa which helps tourists to understand it better.

    FLOOR PLAN

    Art and Craft Village focuses traditional art and craft forms in Goa which includes all the arts such as dance, painting, handwork, etc. Art and Craft village serves following activities:- Performance Areas, Open and Closed Amphitheaters. Cafeteria serving Goan food. Goan Pavilion/Museum. Craft Bazaar, marketing Goan traditional crafts. Workshops.

  • The concept of the art village was to create an atmosphere of Goan village. Also concept is to highlight all the ancient and rural Goan architecture. Aim is to create an experience for the tourists such that they do not feel lost in any part of the village.

  • Craft Bazaar, marketing Goan traditional crafts.

  • Project: Studied the settlement pattern of Chimbel village, Goa to design what the village lacks in. Site given was 1200 sq.m. According to my study I designed a community Centre. Chimbel is a village in Tiswadi Taluka, 7 K.M. from Panaji. The community Centre provides several facilities for youth as well as adult of the village including gym, multipurpose hall, library, gallery, workshops, etc. thus providing a crucial and necessary interacting space for the villagers.

    Project: Housing project involved dealing with the site planning, with details of buildings, clusters, community & recreational facilities and basic infrastructure. Given site area was 13000 sq.m located near Baga beach.

    Design mainly consists of Residential units and the Commercial units. 2 stretches; one is for commercial and 2bhk units. Other one is for 3bhk units. Since the site is at Baga, which is one of the most important and famous places of Goa, stretch along the road side has all the commercial units on ground floor.

    There are mainly two stretches along the periphery of the site and the open gathering space in the middle.

  • FIRST FLOOR PLAN

    The stretch with the commercial units is stilt plus six structure and the other stretch which is residential is stilt plus seven structure.

    The site is located near Baga river making the soil soft and marshy. So the stilt is provided for each stretch.

  • PLANS OF ALL CLUSTERS RESIDENTIAL: 2BHK, 3BHK COMMERCIAL Each cluster comprises of four units along with ducts, staircases and lifts in between. INDIVIDUAL PLANS OF UNITS ALONG WITH THE 3D VIEW IN ORDER TO UNDERSTAND ALL THE SPACES PROPERLY. Each unit has a terrace, which is repeated in alternate pattern on the upper floor, to create an interesting elevation for the building block.
