Colonel (Ret) Ken Rizer is an organizational leadership expert,
motivational speaker, and senior executive at a major Midwestern
nonprofit. Mixing flying stories with insight and humor, his
presentations hit the mark for audiences as diverse as Fortune 500
Companies, small businesses, nonprofits, military organizations,
and faith groups.
Ken proudly served 25 years as an Air Force officer, commander,
and fighter pilot. He flew the RF-4C, F-16, and UH-1 through 15
assignments, including combat tours in Iraq. He commanded an F-16
fighter squadron, a fighter group for the famed “Wolfpack” in
Korea, and Andrews Air Force Base, the home of Air Force One. Ken
was a distinguished graduate of the US Air Force Academy, earning a
BS in foreign affairs.
He was a Barry Goldwater Scholar to Georgetown University’s
Institute on Comparative Political and
Featured Keynote: Colonel (Ret.) Ken RizerEconomic Systems,
during which he served as a US House of Representatives intern.
Selected as an Olmsted Scholar, he learned Swedish at the US State
Department’s Foreign Service Institute prior to studying
international security at the University of Stockholm, Sweden.
He completed an MS with Highest Academic Distinction in
strategic studies at Air University’s Air War College, as well as
an MPA in leadership, politics, and national security from
Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. A published author,
blogger, and Ironman triathlete, Ken is the proud father of four
children with his wife of 25 years.

navigate these sometimes tricky waters? In this workshop you will

Age Andy Stoll, Social Entrepreneur and ProducerAndy Stoll shares
tales from a four-year trip through 40 countries on five
continents. You will learn how the Great Recession ushered in a
hyperconnected age driven primarily by technology, connectivity,
and the democratization of creativity and entrepreneurship. Andy
describes how this new age offers opportunities for individuals to
turn ideas into a reality, to reach global audiences, and to live
the life they have always imagined.
Andy Stoll is a social entrepreneur and producer. He cofounded
NewBoCo and Seed Here Studio, two businesses dedicated to building
stronger communities through fostering entrepreneurship,
innovation, and creativity. Andy previously cofounded The James
Gang, a community-building creativity and social entrepreneurial
incubator that was named the Iowa City Press Citizen “Person of the
Year,” as the individual or group having the largest impact on the
community. Andy holds a BA in film production and a BBA in business
management from the University of Iowa, as well as a master’s
degree in media cultures from The City University of Hong Kong. He
is an adjunct faculty member at Cornell College in the Department
of Economics and Business, where he teaches a project-based,
problem-centered, experiential course on entrepreneurship and
making ideas happen. Andy recently completed a four-year,
40-country solo trip around the world, and moonlights as a
photographer, sometime chef, and occasional cooking class
