Network of Connected eToilet Infrastructure (CeTI)

• Think of a network of connected eToilets whose locations can be traced with an SMS, remote controlled, remote managed, self operating and sustainable

• Mapping and connecting all the eToilet units via web and mobile, thereby making travel smoother and easier for the Public and tourists alike.

• The travelers can identify and select the eToilet units according to their journey route.

• Online integration will provide details on the coins collected and the water & power usage.

• The agency in-charge of the eToilet unit will receive alerts in case of any theft/vandalism attempts.

1. She toilet- Women friendly toilets implemented by Kerala State Women’s Development Corporation in association with Eram Scientific. 23 such units have been installed in Kerala.

2. PWD Project- Kerala Public Work’s department is implementing eToilets along with wayside amenities centers along Kerala roads.

• Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation- We have been awarded the “Reinvent the Toilet Challenge” awards by one of the most esteemed and prestigious Foundations in the world, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (B&MGF)located in Seattle, Washington. The Grant instituted by the Foundation amounts up to INR 3 Crores (approx.).

• Eram Scientific will be utilizing the grant for conducting Research on maintaining toilet cleanliness, non-depletion of water resources and energy conserving solutions.

• The R&D involving the project will span across a period of 15 months.

• Phase I of the Project will be on track by September this year.
