OBJECTIVES

FUNCTIONAL: Students will efficiently identify wild animals and point them using the demonstrative pronouns.

STRUCTURAL: Students will write sentences using some vocabulary about wild animals.

SKILLS: Writing, speaking, and listening.

PROCEDURES

ACTIVITIES

1. WARM UP. Brainstorming ideas: in order to set up the topic, the teacher asked the students some question about animals, after that he was asking about wild and domestic animals and to finish, he was giving a context: the zoo. This activity was carried out in Spanish.

Questions: ¿Niños, a ustedes les gustan los animales?---¿Qué animales les llama mas la atención?---¿Cómo se dice gato en Ingles?---¿Ustedes conocen algún animal domestico?--¿Algún animal salvaje?---¿Cómo se dicen animales salvajes en Ingles?. Okay, ¿Algunas ves han estado en un zoológico? ¿ como se dice zoológico en Ingles? , Que animales podemos encontrar en este?

2. Let’s go to the zoo: learners, by couples were given a picture of a zoo. Subsequently, he asked students, which animals were in the picture. Then students said animals, the teacher wrote down in Spanish the animals on the white board.

EVALUATION

Students had to colour the photocopies given and write sentences using the animals and demonstrative pronouns, then they had to look for more animals. The previous homework evaluated the planned objectives, functional and structural, without a formal testing tool.
