closed) it is stated that the prpcedure of grant of ECRS Clearance stands abolished w.e.f. 1'1 October. 2007.

Incase any person approaches POE office for.grant of ECRS clearance, w.eJ. I " October. 2007, the
may providehim a copy of the MO IA order with an endorsement indicating the authority to be contacted the port of departure for redressed of grievance, if any, in this·regard.
POEs are requested to get in touch with alI ·concerned authorities viz. Immigration authorities, RPOs
c. in their jurisdiction in order to ensure that passengers or persons approaching the concerned au thorities
efo re departure for the visit purposes are not inconvenienced or harassed and thei r departu re from theon the valid documents is made smooth·and troub le free.
. Further you are requested to give wide circulation to these instructions in your jurisdiction and by all
oss ible means also bring it to tbe notice of all the RAs, RA Associations and the gene ral public. The tructions may also be displayed. prominently on the notice board in the POE office.
