EACCME• European Accreditation Council for CME:

established by UEMS in 1999, as an internal branch of UEMS, (i.e. same management).

• Concept:

1. Clearing-house for CME accreditation of international events in all specialties.

2. Provider sends programme of planned event to EACCME or NAAs for primary approval.

3. EACCME requests event assessment and accreditation from UEMS sections – EVENT ACCREDITATION

4. EACCME informs provider of number of credits.

5. EACCME credits should be recognised by NAAs.
