The dugdale Centre prides itself on being a platform for new work, and this season is packed with new writing for children and adults, everything from period dramas to storytelling. Why not join us for The Raintons of forty Hall from the Enfield Theatre Co-op, some top-notch gay cabaret by Nathan Evans or treat the kids with tales from Teddy Time Stories and Skewbald Theatre’s Christmas Show Tales from the Arabian Nights?

Get into the Christmas spirit with Enfield’s five top choirs of children and young people from many nations aged between 4 and 24. They will be accompanied by the professional Martin Smith Quartet and the beautiful young Harpist, Heather Wrighton. The music will include The ceremony of carols by Benjamin Britten, favourite Christmas Carols by the celebrated composer dr John Rutter CBE, as well as audience carols.
Now in their 21st year Children’s International Voices of Enfield have performed at the Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham Symphony and Royal Festival Halls, as well as regularly touring internationally.
The choirs will be conducted by director dr June Keyte MBE ARAM FRSA, dr Christopher Keyte Hon RAM, former Kings College Choral Scholar, Cambridge, and member of the Royal opera House, Covent Garden, as well as Sara King and Joseph Ford Thompson.

The award-winning Schubert ensemble will give their first classical concert to be held at the dugdale Centre. Celebrating 30 years at the forefront of British chamber music, the Schubert Ensemble will perform two of the best-loved piano trios: dvorak’s ever-popular dumky Trio, bursting with Czech song and dance, and Schubert’s great masterpiece, his Piano Trio No.2 in E flat, the darkly brooding slow movement of which featured in Stanley Kubrick’s film Barry Lyndon. The concert opens with a charming miniature by Beethoven.
