Automated Teeth Positioning System

Drilling tools teeth alignment and assembling accuracy is imperative. Soilmec has introduced an Automatic Tooth Positioning

where man errors or inaccuracies are avoided by a computerized assembling system. This sophisticated mechanical process

guarantee accurateness, effectiveness and product Quality.

Soilmec drilling tool range includes general purpose Augers, boring Buckets,

cleaning Buckets and core barrels amongst others. Standard Soilmec drilling tools

range from small to large borehole diameters (400 mm - 2000 mm), and offer the

possibility to mount kelly box size 130x130 mm, 150x150 mm and 200x200 mm.

Soilmec provides with complete drilling tools range which includes both

standard drilling tools and customized drilling tools.

Rock Drilling Tools

Rock main properties affecting cutting performance are:• Uniaxial compressive strength [MPa] and tensile strength [MPa]• Abrasivity or quartz content• Structure of the rock (i.e. number and distance and direction of fractures)
