As you can see from the color theme, this newsletter is focused entirely on the arrival of fall! As the month of September quickly unfolds and shows us what it has to offer, one of the most dreaded things comes along. September means the start of school and homework for all but for us Key Club Members, it marks the exciting start of Key Club. The next upcoming months will be extremely hectic for us all, ranging from getting up at 6 AM for school to planning service projects and finalizing details for Fall Rally. In the next few pages of this newsletter, you’ll find important information on the Fall Regional Training Conferences, Fall Rally and the 2010-2011 Governor’s Project! As Key Club meetings begin in school, I ask that you all encourage friends to join and experience the wonders of serving our homes, schools and communities. Keep in mind the early bird dues deadline of November 1 st and the Big Ten Award which is given to clubs who have raised their membership by 10%. I hope to see everyone at the Northern Regional Training Conference on September 25 and of course at our Fall Rally on October 10! Other than that, start off the school year with a bang and dive into the Key Club world by participating in every service project that both your club and I plan. Continue to publicize every event that’s planned, attend every meeting and remain in constant contact with other club members and officers! As always, if you ever have any questions, comments or concerns, please feel free to contact me using the information at the bottom of this page. Picture a beautiful October day. Now imagine it in the backdrop, reflecting over Kingda Ka’s monstrous 456-foot high peak. Finally, imagine this stunning sight in the

distance, as you sit in an arena with 3,000 other Key Clubbers, cheering to win the Spirit Stick, and are getting excited to perform an amazing year of service.

That’s right! On October 10th, 2010, the New Jersey District of Key Club will be holding their annual Fall Rally at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ! Be a part of a

record 3,000 attendees, as we Sing the Songs of Service to celebrate the start of what is shaping up to be one of the best year’s the New Jersey District of Key Club has had in a

while! Here are five reasons why this year’s Fall Rally will be place to be on October 10th:

1. Dress up as your favorite musician to participate in our celebrity look-alike competition and you could win a gift basket!

2. You’ll get to cheer for your division as you compete to win the coveted Spirit Stick. 3. Keynote speaker Amy Mansue, the CEO of Children’s Specialized Hospital, will be

speaking on the importance of our service to CSH. 4. Tools 4 Schools will be holding a school supplies collection drive for students in

underprivileged schools. 5. You’ll have the chance to brave some of the world’s greatest coasters for a price lower

than regular admission!
