Established in 1986, our aim is a ‘forever home’ for every unwanted, stray cat, kitten, rabbit and guinea pig for the hundreds we are asked to take each year. CRRC are heavily involved with feral colonies of cats that live in built up areas, farms and industrial units etc. We also help if people cannot afford full cost of neutering their cat or rabbit.Approximately 300 rescue animals live on-site, at any one time, awaiting that ‘forever home’.

Our running costs are nearly £1,000 a day! We receive no Government funding and rely on public support for our vital work. There are lots of ways you can help

• Remembering us in your Will• Send a donation helping fund our essential work • Become a Friend of CRRC (enclosed)• Organize your own fund raising event for us

We take in approximately 800 animals per year, but are asked to take over 1,500!“The more we rehome, the more we can take, so tell your friends, to contact us if they are interested in a pet”

Please contact The Centre, and our home visitor will normally make contact within 48 hours.

Also every 4th Saturday of each month between 12 & 2pm we have a cat/kitten rehoming day.

Appointment is not required, but you can reserve, and once a successful home visit has been carried out, you take your new pet home.

Rabbit/guinea pig rehoming days are every Sunday 2-3.30pm.
