On Saturday April 22 I volunteered at

First Assembly Church of God in

Moultrie, Georgia.

I volunteered by doing lawn work.

I mostly chopped up roots that were sticking up

out of the ground so that the lawn mower want hit

them.

This is the kind of roots that I removed.

I never knew that chopping roots would be such hard work.

This is Tori Bozeman, my girlfriend, and me.

She volunteered also.

Why I volunteered were I did.

I volunteered at First assembly of God in Moultrie because that is

the church that my girlfriend goes to. Since we have been going

out I have attended this church quite regularly. This church has

done a lot for me and would help me out any way they could, so I

decided to give back and help them out.

I plan on going back to finish helping

them with whatever they need.

What I learned by doing community service.

Community service is a crucial element of our society. When a

person volunteers to help out around their community their

actions show everyone else that they care about the

community. Also the people that are helped will never forget

these deeds.
