Avez vous aimé le défilé de mercredi

dans les rues de Brive ? Oui c’était

très sympa, très français, et je trouve que

les français savent bien faire la fête et ce

défilé avec la cérémonie était dans le but

de s’amuser donc j’ai beaucoup apprécié.

Et puis ce n’était pas trop long !

first, did you enJoy the oPening ceremony on

wednesday in brive’s city center? yes i did,

it had a nice french touch, and for me, french

PeoPle really know how to enJoy themselves. the

oPening ceremony is suPPosed to be fun and it

was, so it was nice. and it was not too long !

Le moral de l’équipe est-il bon après ce-

tte première journée ? Les filles étaient

un peu déçues à la fin de leur partie, elles

étaient surprises du parcours. Mais elles

gardent le moral !

how does the team feel after this first day?

the girls were a little disaPPointed at the

end of their game, they were surPrised by the

course. but they stay Positive for the rest of the

comPetition.

Avez vous des ambitions élevées aus-

si bien en individuel qu’en équipe

? Oui bien sur, mais la compétition dure

4 jours, on va bien voir avec les change-

ments de drapeau sur les différents jours.

are you ambitious both individually and as a

team ? yes of course, but the comPetition

lasts 4 days , we will see with the flag change

on different days.

Comment s’est déroulé le voyage

pour aller à Brive depuis l’Afrique

du Sud ? Nous avons en premier pris un

avion pour aller à l’aéroport de Paris et

ensuite un autre depuis Paris pour re-

joindre cette ville de Brive.

how was your triP to brive ? we took the

Plane to Paris, to the orly airPort, and

then took an another Plane to Join the city of

brive.

Hier n’était pas un bon jour puisque

vous finissez à +8. En revanche

aujourd’hui vous faites un parcours de

meilleur qualité n’est ce pas ? Oui, vrai-

ment mieux, sauf que je fais quelques er-

reurs sur le 17 en particulier, mais je suis

davantage satisfait.

right ? yes definitely, excePt at the hole 17

where i made triPle bogey.

Vous allez continuez à améliorer vo-

tre score jusqu’à dimanche ? J’es-

père, on va essayer de continuer dans la

même lancée. Si j’améliore encore mon

score et que je remonte au classement,

dimanche je serais au top !

are you going to keeP imProving your rank-

ing until sunday ? i hoPe so, i will try to

go on in the same Progression. if i imProve my

score and win Places in the ranking, sunday

will be a very good day !

En décembre 2015, la FISU a rendu son verdict: la

prochaine édition des Champi-onnats du Monde Universitaire de Golf aura lieu au Orchard Golf Club, à Dasmariñas, dans la prov-ince de Cavite, aux Philippines.

Nous recevons donc une délé-gation spéciale du prochain

organisateur, les Philippines n’ayant pas pu aligner d’équipe pour cette compétition. Trois membres du comité d’organisa-tion philippin sont en effet ve-nus observer le déroulement des championnats et s’impregner de l’ambiance générale à Brive.

Différents rendez-vous sont organisés avec eux pour

répondre à leurs différentes in-terrogations sur l’organisation, dans un esprit d’entraide et de collaboration.

Collaboration qui sera marquée, lors de la cérémo-

nie de fermeture, par la remise du drapeau FISU au Comité d’Or-ganisation philippin par le Com-ité d’organisation français.

last december 2015, the fisu de-cided and the 17th edition of the

world university golf chamPionshiP will take Place in the PhiliPPines, at the orchard golf course in dasmariñas in the Province of cavite.

we are receiving the next organ-ising committee. the PhiliPPines

couldn’t send a team of Players for this chamPionshiP but they sent a sPe-cial delegation. three members of the organising committee from PhiliPPines came to observe and follow the or-ganisation of the 16th chamPionshiP to get ideas and exPeriences for the next one.

different meetings are Planned between them and the different

teams of the organisation to give them a good overview of all the work behind the scene. there is a good in-teraction and collaboration between these members.

the cherry on the cake will be dur-ing the closing ceremony when

the french committee will Pass on the fisu flag to the next organiser the PhiliPPines.

will you be there in 2018?
