The Churn Dash
This block is a version of the basic nine patch block because of the
number of grid spaces in it’s design.
****Always add a 1/4 inch seam allowance to each pattern piece be-
fore cutting.****

This is the Churn Dash nine patch
block is the #3 block in the
Sampler Quilt.
Just as the Simple Nine Patch Block, the Churn Dash block will be constructed in
three rows of three blocks.
All rows are the same height, and have similar components. Be watchful of the
placement of your fabrics so the finished design will look like the photo.
Stitch the block in rows. Then stitch the rows together to form the block, just as
