The Britcab ‘Britannia’ range is our premium cabin, designed for customers wanting that little bit extra from their workspace. Built in house and to the highest possible standard, the Britannia provides a stylish, long-lasting solution to your portable building needs.

External WallsThe external finish of the Britannia Range cabin is a brand new product to the industry “Greencoat Mica Steel” laminated to a 9mm exterior plywood. Walls are insulated with ‘Superglass 36’ Insulation, giving excellent thermal performance, and is classified as having zero Ozone Depletion Potential & Global Warming Potential.

Floor ConstructionTimber floor joists, fastened to rebated Timber Side Rails, make up the floor frame of the unit. Standard floor decking is T & G – P5 chipboard laminated with Slate Grey Polyflor vinyl c/w welded seams ensuring a complete and durable bond. Standard insulation is Eco – Brite Foil insulation.

Monopitch RoofHeavy duty laminate hypolon one piece blanket, laminated to 11mm OSB boarding fixed to Roof Joists which taper to 90mm to create the ‘monopitch’ roof. Like the Walls, the roof is insulated with Superglass 36 insulation. Water Drainage from the roof drains from two hypolon synthetic rubber rainwater outlets which are connected to white square line downpipes and shoes.

Interior Finish‘Wilkins White’ 12.5mm Smooth Vinyl faced plasterboard to Walls & White Vinyl Faced Plasterboard to Ceiling c/w 2 Part matching H –Section trims. Cove – White 50mm plastic 2 part section and a 75mm grey skirt for ease of cleaning.

WindowsAll windows are White UPVC Double Glazed c/w Trickle Vents and Restrictors but vary in size depending on the size cabin you prefer.

Standard ElectricsAll Cabins are fitted with Consumer Unit, Inlet box, 1 No. PIR Sensor, 1500mm Fluorescent T5 Lighting, 13amp Twin Socket Outlets and 2kw Convector Heaters which are controlled by a Thermostat. All Electrics are hardwired within the fabric of the building.

External DoorsYou can choose from two types of external door on your Britannia cabin, either a steel composite ‘Kirncroft Door’ with a 10 Point Multilock or a White UPVC Glazed or Non Glazed Door c/w a Eurocylinder Lock.

Jacklegs

All Cabins are fitted with Steel telescopic Jacklegs, sizes vary from 60/70 and 80/90 depending on the size of the Cabin.

BRITANNIA UNITS

These Eco friendly cabins have the following key features – ● Plastic coated (plastisol) steel exterior. The Britannia is constructed using ‘Greencoat MICA Steel Panels’ which are the new Eco-friendly solution for the UK market.

● Walls are insulated with ‘Superglass 36’ insulation, giving excellent thermal performance. Rated A+ in the BRE Green Guide and achieving a U-Value of 0.47

● ‘Wilkins white’ vinyl faced plasterboard internally for ease of cleaning

● Solid vinyl floor covering throughout c/w welded seems, ensuring a complete and durable bond. Achieves a U-Value of 0.245

● All of the Britannia range cabins incorporate a monopitch roof with a durable and heavy duty laminate hypolon one piece blanket. Like the walls, the roof is insulated with ‘Superglass 36’ insulation and achieves a U-Value of 0.38

● UPVC double glazed windows throughout

● Choice of two types of external door – Steel Kirncroft or UPVC.

● PIR lighting which helps save energy when unit is not in use. ● Design can be tailored to specific customer layout
